You are invited to attend a free briefing on Financial Consumer Protection by Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM).

With the enactment of Akta PIDM 2011, Takaful and Insurance Benefits Protection System (TIPS) was brought into effect on 31 December 2010 and is administered by PIDM. The primary aim is to ensure takaful certificate and insurance policy owners  enjoy government-backed financial consumer protection similar to that provided for depositors. The implementation of TIPS is also expected to promote growth of the insurance and takaful industry.
