Pengendali Takaful Insurans di Malaysia

Pengendali takaful merupakan pentadbir dana dan menguruskan dana bagi pihak peserta atas kepercayaan yang diberikan, dan kontrak antara peserta dengan pengendali ditetapkan berdasarkan kontrak mudharabah (perkongsian keuntungan) atau wakalah (agensi).

Ini pandangan peribadi saya, anda berhak memilih mana-mana pengendali takaful yang memberikan tawaran perlindungan berdasarkan keperluan anda. Ini kerana kesemua pengendali takaful ini harus mematuhi peraturan dan akta yang digariskan oleh pihak BNM.

Lakukan homework terlebih dahulu sebelum membuat keputusan menyertai mana-mana pelan perlindungan takaful, rujuk dengan ejen yang berdaftar dan berlesen yang berdekatan anda. Ada di beri pilihan selama 15 hari setelah menerima sijil polisi untuk memilih sama ada meneruskan kontrak atau sebaliknya. Dalam tempoh itu, baca dan fahami setiap terma dan syarat yang ada bagi memudahkan urusan tuntutan pada masa hadapan.

Loving Couple Policy

"Abang Hadiahkan Polisi Takaful ini Sebagai Tanda Kasih Sayang Kita till Jannah."


“Loving Couple Policy” atau “Polisi Kasih Sayang”, ialah polisi Takaful yang diambil sesama suami isteri dengan suami memiliki polisi isteri dan isteri memiliki polisi suami.

Dengan kata lain;

Polisi A: Suami sebagai Pemegang Polisi dan isteri sebagai Peserta, dan

Polisi B: Isteri pula sebagai Pemegang Polisi dan suami sebagai Peserta.

Berbanding situasi langganan polisi biasa; Suami melanggan satu polisi, dan isteri melanggan satu polisi – dengan nama pemilik sendiri tanpa nama pasangan.

Kelebihan Polisi Kasih Sayang ini ialah:



  • Tidak perlu diletakkan pasangan sebagai penama kerana pasangan sudah menjadi pemegang sijil. Penama boleh letakkan nama anak atau ibu bapa yang hanya berfungsi sekiranya berlaku kematian serentak suami isteri.
  • Tidak ada isu Faraidh apabila berlaku kematian pasangan kerana 100% pampasan takaful kematian menjadi milik pasangan yang masih hidup.
  • Tidak perlu dijadikan Hibah kerana faktor no (2)
  • Apabila berlaku kematian salah seorang, polisi pasangan yang masih hidup tidak perlu dibayar lagi kerana ia sudah “dibayar” oleh pasangan yang masih hidup. Sebab itu dia dipanggil sebagai “Loving Couple Policy”.

Schedule 7 Financial Services Act 2013

Financial Services Act 2013 provides for a list of prohibited business conduct in Schedule 7.

1. Engaging in conduct that is misleading or deceptive, or is likely to mislead or deceive in
relation to the nature, features, terms or price of any financial service or product.

2. Inducing or attempting to induce a financial consumer to do an act or omit to do an act in
relation to any financial service or product by—

(a) making a statement, illustration, promise, forecast or comparison which is misleading, 
false or deceptive; 
(b) dishonestly concealing, omitting or providing material facts in a manner which is 
ambiguous; or 
(c) recklessly making any statement, illustration, promise, forecast or comparison which is 
misleading, false or deceptive. 

3. Exerting undue pressure, influence or using or threatening to use harassment, coercion, or
physical force in relation to the provision of any financial service or product to a financial
consumer, or the payment for any financial service or product by a financial consumer.

4. Demanding payments from a financial consumer in any manner for unsolicited financial
services or products including threatening to bring legal proceedings unless the financial
consumer has communicated his acceptance of the offer for such financial services or
products either orally or in writing.

5. Exerting undue pressure on, or coercing, a financial consumer to acquire any financial service
or product as a condition for acquiring another financial service or product.

6. Colluding with any other person to fix or control the features or terms of any financial service
or product to the detriment of any financial consumer, except for any tariff or premium rates or
policy terms which have been approved by Bank Negara Malaysia.

A: At the moment, it will be done under shades and we may provide tables and chairs on first-come-first-serve basis. You're welcome to bring your own mat.

Q: What can I bring?
A: Anything. It can be items, skills or services. As long as you want to share it for FREE. However, ILLEGAL items are not recommended (DVD cetak rompak, firearms)!

Q: Who can join/come to this pasar?
A: Anyone. It's a FREE & public event. Invite your family & friends!

Q: I don't have anything to offer... can I take something anyway?

NEW CEO OF THE MALAYSIAN INSURANCE INSTITUTE

APPOINTMENT OF NEW CEO OF THE MALAYSIAN INSURANCE INSTITUTE (MII)





Dato’ Haji Syed Moheeb Syed Kamarulzaman has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of The Malaysian Insurance Institute, following the resignation of Ms  Khadijah Abdullah. This appointment takes effect from 21 May 2014.

Dato’ Haji Syed Moheeb is an Associate member of The Malaysian Insurance Institute and a practising member of The Association of Chartered Islamic Finance Professionals. Dato’ Haji Syed Moheeb brings with him a wealth of experience in insurance, reinsurance, takaful and retakaful gained from his 38 years of experience in helming various takaful and reinsurance companies.

We are confident Dato’ Haji Syed Moheeb will be an asset to the Institute.

Bagaimana saya membantu prospek memilih pelan ‪Takaful‬ Keluarga ?

Mula-mula saya perlu kenal pasti gaya hidup prospek.

Kemudian, saya akan tanya beberapa soalan berkaitan ‪pengurusan‬ kewangan semasa prospek.

Saya kenal pasti masalah yang di hadapi.
Saya kenal pasti impian dan harapan prospek.

Saya analisis maklumat yang di terima.

Kemudian, dari hasil maklumat tersebut saya berikan tiga (3) cadangan untuk prospek fikirkan, cadangan berdasarkan ilmu dan pengalaman yang saya pelajari dari 'real experiences' clients saya yang lain.

Dari hasil persetujuan dan persefahaman cadangan tersebut, baru lah kita dapat tentukan berapa bayaran sumbangan bulanan/tahunan yang perlu prospek sumbang berserta faedah yang bakal prospek terima kelak.


Moral of the story :


Setelah ejen takaful menerangkan cadangan yang bertepatan dengan keperluan prospek dan prospek juga perlu jelas dan faham terlebih dahulu kenapa, apa, berapa, bagaimana dan mengapa beliau perlukan pelan perlindungan takaful keluarga (atau perniagaan) bagi membantu beliau dan ahli keluarga dari sudut simpanan, tanggungan kos rawatan, persaraan, simpanan pendidikan, wasiat, dan sebagainya.

Jangan main sign dan angguk kepala sahaja ya !

Harus di ingat, takaful (ILP) bukan-lah pelan 'pure ‪investment'. Dan, pastikan anda juga faham perbezaan 'Caruman' dan 'Simpanan'.
